FLY FISHING GUIDE SERVICE

 

The Nordic Pro-Fly Fishing company provide also guiding (fly fishing only). Main guide is Mikko Halonen (man behaind of the company). He can provide guiding for you in northern Finland. Our office is in city of Oulu. If he is a prevented for guiding he will find guide for you in Finland. He has a few guiding partners; companies and private person who have good experiences about fly fishing and guiding. Please note that here are no good places for fly fishing in near of Oulu. All places are about 80-200 km from Oulu.

Fly fishing seasons and locations:
Whitefish 20. May - 30. August (about 80 km from Oulu)
Grayling 10. June - 30. September (about 150-200 km from Oulu)
Brown trout 10. June - 10. September (not so good situation in City of Oulu area, not recommend)
Stocked Rainbow trout with Bellyboat or boat 1. June - 30. August (about 40-80 km from Oulu)
Pike (hot season 3.-10. May (about 60-100 km from Oulu)
Atlantic Salmon 15. June - 20. August (only in river Teno, about 700 km from Oulu)


Price of guiding
Full day (8-24 hrs) 300 Euros.
The guiding price includes fishing licences, life jackets, lunch, transportation from hotel and taxes. Price depends on fishing location (fuel cost).

You will need own fly fishing equipments (waders, rods, etc). Catch & Release recommend.
