WORLD FLY FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007 IN FINLAND
The FIPS-Mouche World fly fishing championships will be hold in Finland in 13.-20.6.2007. And place will be area of river

Mr. Jyrki Lämsä
He is 41 year old well known fly fisherman in Finland. He has been tying flies and fly fishing 28 years. He is also well known competition
fly fisher. In year 1989, when was first time in Finland world fly fishing champion chips he got personal and team medal bronze. Jyrki was
for two time part of the Fly Fishing Team Finland. He has a many years fly fishing experience (from year 1983) about river Simo.
Mr. Mikko Halonen
Man behind of the company is Mikko Halonen (in the left at photo). He has been tying flies 23 years and fly fishing only 21 years. He is 37 year old, well known
fly fisherman and innovative fly tyer in Finland. He is one of the originator, member of the editorial board and a field editor in a
high-quality Finnish fly fishing magazine called “Pohjolan Perhokalastaja”. He has published dozens articles in the Finnish fly fishing
magazines. His articles have been published in a Scotland based Fly Fishing and Fly Tying magazine, first article was "Grayling on streamers"
(issue October 2003) and second was "Grayling on the sea shore" (issue November 2004, International Fly-Fisher’s guide 2004). Also one
article, "Fly fishing for grayling in the Nordic Countries" has been published in The Journal of the Grayling Society. He has published
(February 2005) one book in Finnish about Finnish Salmon Flies. Second book about grayling is coming and he make co-operation with Polish PhD Stanislaw Cios.
