NORDIC PRO-FLY FISHING PHOTOGRAPHY 
Man behaind of the company and photography is Mikko Halonen. He has been tying flies 28 years and fly fishing only 26 years. He is 42 year old, well known photographer,
fly fisherman and innovative fly tyer in Finland.
His photographs and articles (73 Qty) have been published in a Fly Fishing and Fly Tying magazine (UK), The Journal of the Grayling Society (UK), Flugfiske i Norden magazine (SWE), FliegenFischen magazine (GER), Allt om flugfiske magazine (SWE), Perhokalastus magazine (FIN), Pohjolan Perhokalastaja magazine (FIN) and Sztuka Lowienia magazine (POL). His photographs also have been published in a next books and product catalogs; Guideline 2010 (Photo contest winner), Villi Pohjola (FIN), Perhokalastus – Tekniikat ja sidonta book (FIN), Vision 2003, Fly-Fishing for Alaska's Arctic Grayling - Sailfish of the North book (USA) and "Biologie des Fliegenfischens" - book by Axel Wessolowski (GER). He has published two book in finnish; one about Finnish Salmon Flies called "Valikoituja Lohiperhoja" (February 2005). And latest book (March 2008) about Grayling called "Perhokalastajan Harjus" with Polish Dr. Stanislaw Cios. Third book about fly fishing will be available at March 2012. |
